The Centre has taken up on-Lab production of biofertilizer & bio control agent since 2014 as part of the sustainable green technologies programme. The following biofertilizer/ biocontrol agent are being produced Trichoderma viride, PSB, Azospirillum, Azotobacter, Pea Rhizobacteria, Chickpea Rhizobacteria & 41E in the Laboratory. One of the major activities is the isolation of native fungal & bacterial species that can potentially be used as bio fertilizer or bio control agents.
