1. Inspection has to be completed each and every season after 15 days after sowing and one month before harvest of crop.
2. In rain fed situations where there is only one crop there will be one peer appraisal.
3. If two crops are taken then two inspections need to be done and if three crops are taken then three appraisals are to be done.
4. If intercrops are taken then peer appraisal need to be done according to the number of intercropping seasons.
5.  If no inter crops are taken then only one peer appraisal is to be done in one year.
6. Reciprocal inspection is not allowed.
